1)Price Your Home Aggressively- Price is everything in Real Estate. Price your home right at our under what the appraised value of your home is and it will sell quickly many times with multiple bids on the property. When you get multiple bids on your property you may even get more then your asking price for your home!
2)Hire the Right Real Estate Pro- Find the right Realtor who sells in your area, blogs about why to live there, and closes a large quantity of homes. Do not hire some part time agent who sells under 10 a year or you will regret hiring someone who is inexperienced!
3)Have professional photography on your property- When I put a home on the market I call in the best photographers in the area to show the home in the best light. We are talking wide angle photos, and brightened! Almost everyone starts their home search online and nothing will turn a buyer off more
4)Stage Your Home- If your furniture doesn’t look like a model home then hire a stager to sell your home! Buyers loved to see how furniture is going to lay out
5)Let all showings happen. Even if it’s last minute get out of your house and let the buyers get in! Rarely is someone going to buy a home they can not view first when they want to view it!
6)Negotiate fairly and properly- Nothing is worse then doing all of the above and then getting an offer and turning it down. Always counter offer even if it’s low because more often than not buyers will come up to fair market value if you and your agent handle the negotiations properly.
